Hello beautiful, can I just have a few minutes of your time?

I really want you to gravitate to the message I am about to share with you. I know in our world, the image seems to be imperative. In addition, Physical appearance seems to be a part of some peoples’ evaluation process for how they perceive others. Unfortunately, that method can be quite deceptive because you are only analyzing a person partially. In that partiality, you are now creating a false identity based on a superficial standard. We frequently have a clouded perception of what identity truly means because it’s defined by another person’s perception. So before I go deeper into the topic- Walking In your Identity, I have a few questions I want you to consider.

What standards define You as a person?

How have others’ perceptions influenced how you view yourself?

How has hurt possibly tainted your identity?

How do you think God views you?

Are you viewing your life through the eyes of God?

Yes, I know. So many questions Right? Questions are always necessary when it focuses on your maturation process. It allows your eyes to be alert to what may be affecting your life positively or negatively. So it is essential to really ask yourself what defines you. So many people are confident with what they believe is identity. However, they are just walking Counterfeits. They are covering up various areas of their life and putting in overtime to create a physical illusion of perfection. The result of this action is to mask the areas they have not learned to embrace. The world will make you believe that identity is only associated with physical attributes. However, walking in your identity involves internal, emotional, and mental transformation.

How can transformation have an invitation in your life? Well my friend his name is Jesus. When you allow him to fill in every area of your life, you are making the decision for change to be permanent. You are rising up in walking in your true foundation. It’s difficult to walk the path of destiny when your identity is destroyed. You will eventually have unnecessary turns, stops, and possible accidents. When the navigator is disconnected from your life, you begin to travel down a road without clarity. We all know when we are not able to see clearly it endangers our lives as well as others who may be connected to our purpose.

Well, Deidre How can a lack of identity hurt others around me?  If you are not aware of who you are designed to be. You will never know your function or purpose. Then the people that are supposed to be positively influenced by you will never reach you. That can be detrimental to your life as well as others. I always say people are waiting on your healing and transformation so you can produce what God intended. So many of you are running from purpose, and don’t even realize it is due to an identity crisis. Allow God to access your heart. Let  Him saturate the heart. It enables everything that is causing a distorted vision, to be eliminated.  Give God total access to your life so he can take surveillance of those areas that have infested your heart and your mind. Allow him to expose those areas that are prohibiting you from moving forward. Allow him to share with you the root of the pain.

So many of us are viewing ourselves from a broken lens. Every time we look at ourselves we see the hurt instead of the beauty. But God is trying to tug at your heart. He wants a relationship. 2Corinthians 5:17 Says, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.” It is time to take the blinders off your beauty. They are not flaws! Leave your old way of thinking. Walk into the new by allowing God’s words to be an imprint over your identity. Walk with God and you will Walk in Identity.

Lastly, I want to remind you that peoples’ words should not shift your identity. When you adhere to what the creator has spoken over your life, You never again allow outside opinions to oppress you. Today I want you to walk in your new and remember that you were created for such a time as this. You are not an accident. You are not just here to watch time pass. You are not here to be broken. You are here for God’s purpose. So I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that every blinder that has been over your eyes, will be lifted. I pray for healing for every situation that has disabled you from loving yourself and knowing your beauty. I pray that through your healing God will activate everything that he put inside so you can be active on this earth and produce. I pray that you, my sister will Live Out Purpose.
