Let’s start with the title on this one. I’m sure the title lingered on your mind a little bit, trying to understand what it means. I felt the same way, but I got an understanding as soon as I read through the first part. Terri- the author, is passionate about music and her husband Harry, loved car racing. So, personally, I understand it as, ‘when Harry met Terri.’ This book starts off very emotional as Terri recounts memories of her life before and after she met her husband, the struggles after losing him to illness and her road to recovery from the heartbreak of losing the love of her life.

I liked how she went straight to the point in the first part of the book. She gave a glimpse of her life, Harry’s life, how they met and what led to his death. The chapters and sub-chapters were mainly focused on the road to recovery.

*In this house we laughed and we cried, we lived and … we died. *

In as much as it’s a sad story to lose a loved one, the incredible side to this book is the kind of inspiration the author blesses the reader with. It is always a thing of joy to see someone who has been through a hard time gets back up and inspire others, it’s truly amazing. Terri totally relied on God to help her get back up, and He graciously helped her.

*Give all your cares to the Lord and he will give you strength. He will never let those who are right with Him be shaken.

Psalm 55:22(NLV) *

I like the arrangement of the book, it is very detailed and specific. If you love inspirational books, this is a great one. If you’ve read it, let me know your thought on this book in the comment section

Until next time!

I received a copy of this book from the author to give an honest review. This has in no way affected my opinions, all thoughts are my own.
