A beautiful fiction story carefully crafted on morality, trust, forgiveness and love. Our heart beats to the adventures, love story and suspense as we flip through the pages. This book takes us on a journey into the life of Madelyn Brighton, a psychologist who is dedicated to helping women in an abusive relationship get back on their feet.

Things take a turn when she receives news of her father’s death and she has to leave California to Bavaria in South Germany for his funeral. With uncertainty, drawn from the complicated relationship she had with her father, she packs up and heads to Germany with so many unanswered questions. There she unexpectedly gets entangled in her father’s past life. The suspense leads to a journey of love, keeping the readers mind flattered to the end.

The book started out with action like in the movies and the characters were very much felt and understood as the pages were flipped. The plot twist keeps the readers imagination alive, seeking an answer to the steps and decisions of each character. Madelyn wins best character because of her strength and determination in not only getting others back on their feet, but also taking a lot of risks with her own life. She might have had a lot of baggage to deal with from her past, but she was willing to break through it all and keep moving.

The pace of the story was not too slow or too fast, all the scenes were adequately detailed with the right momentum and the author rolled out each scene and chapter nicely. It definitely kept the reader curious till the end. The author wrote this story in a way that makes it a great fit for both the young and adult, but be ready to learn a lot of German with Madelyn – fun. The adventures are inspiring, the lessons on faith sets root of encouragement and the love story puts a smile on the face of us all.

Until next time, stay safe and remain blessed!
