A lot changed in six years, but it didn’t bring fulfillment for Leah. This book is about a young lady called Leah who feels she isn’t living her life to the fullest. With no hope for marriage at the age of 26 and suffocating at a sales job, Leah longs for happiness and fulfillment in every area of her life. The only thing that could bring her happiness is her dream of a successful acting career, but there’s no hope there either. When things seem like all hope is lost, she meets a rich and handsome producer, his name is Trent. He invites her to take part in a reality tv show. Even though it’s not the path she wanted to take into the entertainment industry, it was a step to what she has always dreamed of doing.

Call it fate, Trent and Leah fall in love quickly and Leah agrees to take part in the reality show. Ignoring the caution from her best friend on this new relationship, Leah opens her heart to love and all the experiences that come with it.

At the show house, Leah is intrigued by a costar- Brice, who becomes a friend instantly. The show house might have been the start of something new, but her nightmares was another new thing that kept her trembling and sleepless at night. The presence of her new friend Brice brought her comfort and peace on her sleepless night. Brice might be haunted by a loss, but his heart was fully aware of what he needed in the future. Leah and Brice become very close friends.

I love the many lessons on a relationship in this book.  Lessons on how you see yourself as a single lady, the choices you make to attain happiness in Christ. In a new relationship, what do you watch out for? If you see the bad signs staring at you in the face, will you be bold enough to make the best decision that will affect your future?

As Leah’s nightmares are getting intense, her relationship with Trent is moving at a faster pace. She gradually becomes blinded to what clearly is the right path to follow. To her, everything came as a blessing when she needed it most, so how can her situation be bad now? Confusion, temptation, doubt, more panic attacks sets in for Leah. Each page keeps you wondering, will she keep holding on to her idea of happiness or get an understanding of the path God is leading her to?

One thing I know for sure is that God is faithful, and his mercy endures forever. Even when we forsake his love for another, He waits patiently for our return… to cleanse us and make us whole again.
