This is a good love story mixed with a great amount of faith, hope and redemption. I can hear you say, “that’s my kind of book.” Perfect! This is a Christian fiction novel that is suitable for youths and adults. It is also family based with great life lessons. This book starts out on a good imaginative layout for the reader. It helps the reader quickly understand the setting of the story and the personality of each character.

The story line is centered on a girl called Ellie Tucker and a boy called Nolan Cook. Both are childhood friends who have grown to be best friends, seeing themselves together in the future. Their dreams are altered when Ellie’s parents break up and she has to move with her dad from Savannah to San Diego. This move doesn’t just hurt her family, but also her friendship with the only boy she loved- Nolan. What does the future hold for them? Will they ever see each other again? Will they remember the love they had for each other or move on with their lives?

I loved how the author described each character and anyone can easily understand their decisions and who they really are. Makes you feel like you know them and you can talk to them. Everything is relatable to what happens in real life and there is always one source of solution to every problem, be it in a fiction book or real life, and that is God. All the Characters at one point or the other in their lives had to rely on this source (God) to get their lives together and receive redemption.

This book was a ‘happily ever after’ for me and I hope it was for you too, that’s if you have read the book. If you want to know more about this novel, grab a copy to read and let’s chat about it. Until next time, remain blessed!
